The Project Manager formulates and directs the rehabilitation and modernization program for the Authority according to protocols, established deadlines, and within budget. Assist in the planning and implementation of the Authority’s Capital Fund Program, conduct procurement of architectural, engineering and other related construction and modernization services. Oversee the entire construction contract process. Assist in the planning, development, implementation, project management, and closing projects using a variety of grant and other capital funding. Also, act as a liaison for the Authority’s development of existing and new affordable housing opportunities. Serve as the primary liaison for all lender related community visits as well as deferred maintenance items that result from lender inspections.
The selected individual will exercise fiduciary responsibility for the accurate tracking and reporting of expenses and activities against grant funds, reconciliation, budget revisions and deadline extensions with HUD.
The Project Manager will serve as liaison between the department and the finance department. The individual will also assist with preparing periodic reports to HUD via paper and/or HUD’s electronic systems, as well as collaborate with other stakeholders in the preparation and submission of reports and data related to the projects.
Collaborate with Property Management division to establish, implement, and oversee annual utility allowance and consumption data for public housing communities.
Individual must have project management skills and capacity to handle varying priorities of the Development Department. Be able to multi-task and communicate clearly and effectively. The Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination of various projects and making sure that they run smoothly and efficiently.
