The Los Angeles County Development Authority is seeking a highly organized self-starter that takes initiative to problem solve and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. The Affordable Housing Assistant Project Manager (Development Specialist II) is expected to have general knowledge of real estate development or affordable housing development and preservation. The Affordable Housing Assistant Project Manager should exercise sound judgment and discretion along with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, developers, businesses, residents, County staff, and other community stakeholders.
As part of the Finance and Development Unit within the Housing Investment and Finance Division, the Affordable Housing Assistant Project Manager – Development Specialist II works under the direct or general guidance of a supervisor, performs a wide variety of activities for the purpose of creating new affordable and special needs/homeless housing, and preserving and expanding existing affordable housing.
