Under the direction of the Executive Director/CEO, the Policy and Strategic Partnerships Director is responsible for performing high level administrative work to identify, expand and strengthen strategic partnerships with local, state and federal agencies, residents, and community stakeholders to create, implement, and coordinate plans and programs to increase access to education, employment, connectivity, workforce development, transportation, and health resources to benefit low and moderate income families and underserved communities. Works with agency leaders to identify and articulate strategic objectives, annual goals, action plans and related performance metrics.
Bachelor’s Degree in public administration/policy, business, urban planning, communications, social science, education, public health, or other related field and a minimum of two years of experience expanding strategic partnerships to increase access to education, employment, connectivity, transportation, and health care for the benefit of low to moderate income communities. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Applicants with 5+ years of experience and/or a post graduate degree may be given preference.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the KCDC’s automobile insurance plan at the standard rate.
