The Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) is issuing a request for qualifications from real estate development firms to participate in the design, planning, and development of various properties within the Louisville Metro area into high-quality affordable housing.
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to engage partners in the revitalization of LMHA-owned properties and properties under the control of the selected developer. These properties encompass a range of opportunities, including vacant land, existing housing in need of redevelopment, new construction, adaptive rehabilitation, and mixed-use properties.
LMHA's objective with this RFQ is to align development efforts with its long-term strategic goals, ultimately advancing its mission to provide high-quality, affordable, and mixed-income housing options throughout the Louisville Metro area. The envisioned developments aim to foster economically and socially diverse communities, promoting vibrant, mixed-income neighborhoods characterized by a variety of land uses, building types, densities, amenities, and supportive services.
