A new publication from the King County Housing Authority, Seattle Housing Authority, and Tacoma Housing Authority shares their PHAs' perspectives on how the Moving to Work (MTW) program has allowed them to innovate programming and tailor housing resources and services for low-income people in the Puget Sound region.
From ABC 4 Salt Lake City:
The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC) has been awarded a position through a federal program that will expand affordable housing efforts in the state.
HASLC is now part of the Moving to Work Landlord (MTW) Incentive cohort, which was created by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
In January 2022, the HUD announced the 29 agencies that were selected and Salt Lake City made the cut.
On January 27 HUD announced their selection of agencies for Cohort 3 of MTW expansion. Cohort 3 consists of mid and large-sized PHAs and will be charged with evaluating landlord incentives and their impact on participation in the Housing Choice Voucher program.
