NYCHA Designates Development Partners to Repair and Preserve over 5,900 Affordable Apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn

Today, the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) announced the selection of five development teams that will partner with the Authority under the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program to preserve 5,908 units in Manhattan and Brooklyn with critical infrastructure and capital repair needs.

The Pittsburgh Housing Authority is aiming to rehab 86 public housing units in the Manchester neighborhood in Pittsburgh's North Side.

Housing officials say they will seek federal approval next month for the improvements, which aim to repair and replace floors, furnaces and water heaters, install new cabinets and bathroom fixtures, as well as building roofs.
