Three District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) communities now have Little Free Libraries, small wooden boxes containing books for neighbors to borrow as well as space to donate books to their community. Amerigroup built the DCHA Little Free Libraries and filled them with books, and nonprofit A Wider Circle will maintain them.
In December, DC-area PHAs the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority,District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA), Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and Rockville Housing Enterprises celebrated graduates of the Family Self-Sufficiency program with a joint dinner.
